Customers praised this diamond plate as "easy to install and very solid" with a "perfect fit." It prevents items from falling through cart gaps into sand. A true must have stops things from falling off your bags directly into the sand they land on the plate instead. The only issue I see with it is that if you order a lift kit or an extra axle in tires, you’ll either have to modify the plate or change the way the lift kit attaches to the cart. I chose to drill holes and attach the lift kit with rivets instead of using the enclosed brackets worked perfect for me. Didn’t have to change the plate and it’s sturdy as a rock. I’ve included two pictures to give you an idea.

The cart itself is amazing but it has large gaps which make it easy for things to bounce around, fall over, fall off the cart, etc. You could use buckets to hold everything but some things just get tossed in the cart when you’re in a hurry to reel in that big fish, shark, etc and it’s just easier to have a cart that’s a catch all. Would recommend! Stays in place when the cart is moving but easy to take off if you need to. Holes in the cart still allow any sand and water to drain easily. Especially after being hosed off.

Looks great, beware if you have an older Sr cart this will not drop in place. The older carts that have rod holders on the sides will be 1" to narrow for drop in place. I had a 1/2" cut off both sides before it would fit. Other than that looks great, nice to have the floor filled in, would recommend to any cart owner just beware of fit with older Sr carts.

The plate itself fit well however all the holes and exterior edges had sharp edges. It took me over 2 hrs to debur and the diamond plates makes deburring even harder and I'm an ex machinist.

Bought the fish n mate sr cart from these guys and the service was outstanding so after getting back from Florida decided I needed the aluminum floor and the front pier wheel and once the service was excellent and shipping great will definitely buy from these guys
