Trout and Redfish have been good the last week but there are a lot of short fish. The bay and canal are both producing about the same level of fish so one is not a better place to be than the other. Live or fresh shrimp fished on a 1/8oz lead head jig head works just fine. A few Mangroves are still coming off the sea wall at the old marina but those fish have been running short like the trout and redfish. Flounder is back in season and we are hearing at the back of St Joe Bay working the pot holes with a slow retrieve has been producing some pretty nice fish and there appears to be plenty of fish there. Keep at it anglers and until next week.
