Fishing has been strong this week when weather conditions were good. Some very large Trout were caught at the Highland View bridge on live shrimp and staff member Terry landed two over 25 inches along Town Beach using Paul Brown suspended bait. Pompano bite has been great all along the beaches from Mexico Beach out to the Cape. A variety of baits have proven effective from live sand fleas, frozen sand fleas, Fishbites and Pompano Jigs.
Captain Lee says working the Bay early and the beginning of the falling tide will produce your best results at this time.
Read those tide charts ! Water temp. in St Joe Bay is 72 degrees.
Until next week. Happy Fishing!
