A good week of fishing on the Forgotten Coast as we wound up Federal Snapper fishing. All indications everyone had a great time and some awesome fish were taken. Closer in fishing continues good as well with Trout and Red fish bite still pretty good in the bay using soft baits and live shrimp. Beach fishing has been good as well with a lot of good reports of some nice Whiting being taken and a few Pompano still showing up. Flounder bite has been great also along the sea wall at St. Joe Marina and out along the walls at the Mexico Beach canals. Z-Man white soft bait and Bull/Tiger minnows being the bait of choice.
Keep those reports coming and let us know how your doing and what your doing it with. Until next week Happy Fishing !
Another fine week of fishing on the Forgotten Coast. Pompano bite continues to improve along all the beaches. Spanish Mackerel also continues to improve and we are seeing larger fish being taken. Water temps continue to rise and water clarity is awesome. We are hearing some goods reports of Trout out around Black's Island and the head of St Joe Bay. We had also gotten several reports of some nice large Black Drum being caught at the Highland View bridge. Make sure and visit us at BlueWater Outriggers for all your tackle and gear as well as live bait and artificial baits. Don't forget we also carry Live EEL for Cobia anglers. Until next week, Happy Fishing !
