Fishing along the Forgotten Coast has been fair to good this week. Trout bite has continued to stay pretty strong but
Redfish has slowed. Best fishing is still in 3 to 6 feet of water with suspended early in the morning and going deeper as the day heats up. Right now, artificial seems be a better choice than live but as we've said it's always good to have all the tools in the box. For all you Scallopers remember this is the last full week for scalloping in St. Joe bay as the season comes to a close Saturday September 24th. It's been a pretty tuff season this year so it will be interesting to see how things develop for next year. Until next week. Happy Fishing !
