This is a very handy clamp on light. Admittedly, I purchased this for use on the handle of my gas grill rather than for some other outdoor pursuit, and it works GREAT? The clamp is strong enough to stay in place when I raise and lower the cover so I can focus light directly on what I'm grilling and where I need it. This has worked out so well, I'm going to get a couple more to mount on a couple of large pole tents and to have one to clip onto the luggage rack on my truck.
