2017

As we head into 2017 we are looking forward to the prospects of some exciting fishing and fun on the water around the Forgotten Coast. With spring just a few months away it's hard to believe we are leaving 2016 behind. With that being said lets talk about our favorite pastime in these parts !  We have been getting some very good reports from multiple areas of Whiting showing up on the beaches and the bite has been great. Whiting love Fish Bites and fresh or frozen shrimp. Also Trout continue to bite really well in the canal and up in the rivers and soft baits or live shrimp are doing the trick. Redfish has slowed but we are still getting reports of Reds being taken when Trout was the target, which is always a bonus. Lots of Black Bass are showing up in St. Joe Bay and live shrimp is great bait for these little guys. Keep in mind that Black Bass makes for some fine table fare, they are not big in size but more than make up for it on the dinner plate. Don't forget that BlueWater Outriggers has everything for your outdoor adventure and we look forward to seeing you in 2017 ! Until next time, Happy New Year and Happy Fishing !
