The long awaited Scallop season will begin in just a few short weeks. This year will run from Aug. 17 to Sept. 30 for Gulf County. Limits for harvest are the same as last year and are the following. 2 gallons of whole Scallops in shell or 1 pint of meat per person. Or 10 gallons of whole Scallops in shell or 1/2 gallon of meat per vessel. Bluewater Outriggers has everything you'll need for Scalloping to include nets, scallop knives, gloves and a full line of snorkel gear and water shoes.
