Fishing reports were pretty good this last week even with the heavy rains we had. Redfish and Trout had slowed somewhat but the Flounder bite was still very good. We had reports from all areas from the bay to St Joe Marina and out to the Mexico Beach canals. Bull Minnows and some white or cream soft bait grubs were taking fish. Spanish Mackerel bite was still pretty good and several reports of larger fish being boated. Clarkspoon trolling rigs are the winner for the Mackerel and in addition we are still hearing that plenty of Mahi being caught out along the buoy line and the tip of Cape San Blas. Beach fishing was producing a lot of fun, with plenty of reports of Whiting being caught. Lady fish are plentiful right now so if your a Shark angler you can have some good fun on light tackle and get yourself plenty of Shark bait at the same time. Until next week, Happy Fishing !
