Cobia Ling
This past week proved to be another good one on the water. We had many reports of nice fish being taken all around the Forgotten Coast. A very nice 40 pound Cobia was taken and we were happy to hear this as Cobia or Ling have been slow thus far. We've had several reports of Tarpon being caught as well however they were juvenile's, but the big ones will follow soon. Be sure and check out the new Tarpon Flies we are now stocking at BlueWater Outriggers if you'd like to target this species. We have also had some good reports of Mahi being caught off the tip of the Cape, no large fish but plenty of nice chickens.  Rattle Jets and Mahi Mauler are working good on these fabulous fish. Along the beaches there are plenty of Whiting still being caught and still a few Pompano's but they are starting to really thin out. As we celebrate Memorial Day please take a moment and remember those who sacrificed so we may enjoy this wonderful holiday with friends and family on our beautiful beaches and waterways. Until next week, Happy Fishing !
