Black Drum

This last week proved to be a great week of fishing and the prized waters were under the Highland View Bridge. Very large Black Drum were being taken along with Trout, Redfish and some Sheepshead. We also had a few reports of Flounder being caught there. After speaking to several anglers that had success under the bridge the common answer was live shrimp and Vudu shrimp for baits. The natural brown or root beer color seemed the be the winners. There were some more reports of Spanish being caught along the sea wall at St. Joe Marina using Gotcha plugs and Clark Spoons. As we gear up for spring fishing and it looks like it's going to be some great days on the water be sure and visit Bluewater Outriggers for all your gear, "we have everything for your outdoor adventure". Until next week, Happy Fishing !
