Red Drum

Anglers it is time to gear up for Trout along the Forgotten Coast. With the recent cold front that came through we should see the Trout bite about to catch fire. Reports have been a little slow so far but we feel that the Trout should be moving up in the Canal and Trout fishing should be strong. Water temps have fallen dramatically and water clarity is top notch. Several baits will work good on Trout this time of year. Live baits and artificial will produce great. Popping corks, Salt Water Assassin and Vudu Mullets will take fish with no problem. The beauty of these baits fishing for Trout is they will also produce Redfish. What a great day on the water when Trout and Redfish both are on the boat and in the box. Until next week, Happy Fishing
