Coming off the holiday we are hearing some good reports on several different fish species along the Forgotten Coast. First Trout bite has picked up greatly, from St. Joe Bay to the Canal and up several miles in the Canal Trout is pretty hot. Vudu Shrimp and Live Shrimp are producing well, the Vudu rigged on a popping cork or not are both taking fish. Silver Trout or as some call them Sand Trout has been plenty hot around the docks along Windmark Beach and live shrimp are working best here. They are fun to catch at about 12 to 13 inch. and great table fare. Whiting bite as picked as well out at the Stump Hole and all along the beaches of Cape San Blas. We are hearing Fish Bites Shrimp or Flea tipped with fresh Shrimp is your best choice here. Redfish bite has let up some but they are still being taken on Gold Bagley Spoons and Redfish Magic soft baits. All the above mentioned baits are available at Bluewater Outriggers where we have "everything for your outdoor adventure". Until next week anglers, Happy Fishing !
