The opening of the fall Snapper season is in full swing with plenty of folks hitting the water. Preliminary reports are fishing was good with several folks reporting to me that they limited on Snapper and boated some Grouper as well. Don't forget anglers we have two more weekends to harvest Snapper so if you have the opportunity get out there and hit the water.
Inshore was a good week also with some nice Trout being taken in the bay. One friend reporting a 29 inch trout around the Windmark area. Soft baits and live shrimp are taking care of business.
We finally have had a couple reports of some Pompano being taken on the beaches. Doc's Goofie jigs and the Willie Nillie jig is proving to be successful. Until next week. Happy Fishing !
