BlueWater Outriggers Fishing Report 1-29-2024

INSHORE: Sheephead are hot right now! Fiddler Crabs are the bait of choice, followed by Shrimp or Sand Fleas. Artificial baits such as Berkley Gulp and Fishbites have also been working well. Black Drum and Red Fish have also been good. Don't forget Speckled Trout season closes Febuary 1st for a month in the Western Panhandle.

FRESHWATER: Bluegill have been good on Howards Creek and Wetappo Creek. Worms and Crickets are the bait of choice. If your chasing Crappie on the Dead Lakes, minnows would be a good choice of bait.

OFFSHORE: We've not heard any first hand reports this week. If you do get out, the usual suspects are at large, Grouper Snapper and Sheephead.

Tight lines until next week.
